On our budget tour, you’ll stay in small guesthouses, budget hotels, or affordable mid-class hotels. The accommodations are quite basic but clean (and usually very charming) and offer sufficient comfort for a pleasant night’s sleep. Air conditioning (except in the colder regions of Sri Lanka), hot water, and a private bathroom are standard amenities. You will NOT be staying in low-budget accommodations. You’ll enjoy the final days on the beach in a very charming and comfortable guesthouse or a good mid-class hotel..

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
